The trial in the case of Karen Ghazaryan begins in Ganja
Baku / 06.11.18 / Turan: On November 6, the trial in the case of Armenian citizen Karen Ghazaryan, accused of attempting to carry out a terrorist attack in Azerbaijan, began in the city of Ganja in the Ganja Serious Crimes Court chaired by Dadash Imanov.
According to the court, Ghazaryan was charged with several Articles of the Criminal Code. He was detained on July 15, 2018 in the area of the border village of Kemerli, Gazakh district, after he was noticed by local residents. The investigation claims that Ghazaryan was preparing to commit a terrorist attack using weapons and explosives. In turn, the Armenian side claims that Ghazaryan is not a saboteur. According to the Armenian side, he is a mentally ill person who accidentally crossed the border. -02D-
