Then chief physician of drug treatment clinics arrested
The chief doctor of the drug treatment clinics in Baku Huseyn Hasanov has been arrested on charges of getting bribe, the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office.
The investigation was initiated on the basis of complaints of citizens received by the Main Directorate for Combating Corruption under the Prosecutor General about the fact that drug treatment clinics in Baku demand money for the issuance of a certificate o n being registered.
During the investigation there were founded suspicions that in January-February 2017 the head physician of drug treatment clinics in Baku Huseyn Hasanov through registrar of the dispensary Matanat Shamchieva demanded from different people some money in exchange for the issuance of a certificate on registration. The total amount of bribes amounted to 3,190 manat. In this connection, in the Main Directorate for Combating Corruption filed a lawsuit.
Huseyn Hasanov was charged under Article 311.1 (bribery) of the Criminal Code. By the court decision against he was arrested. In addition, Hasanov was dismissed by the relevant order of the Ministry of Health.
Necessary investigative and operational measures for the full and comprehensive investigation mentioned in the criminal case, as well as the establishment of all the perpetrators and bringing them to responsibility are ongoing.—03D06--
