Baku/30.09.22/Turan: At 4 pm on Friday, unauthorised protest organized by activists of the Popular Front Party (PFPA) took place in front of the Milli Majlis building.
The participants protested against the reactionary bill "On political parties". The detention of participants began already a kilometer before the indicated place. However, dozens of people in small groups managed to come to the parliament building.
The participants chanted: “Free elections!”, “Resign!”, “No to dictatorship!”, “Repeal the bill “On political parties!”, “Freedom for political prisoners!”.
The police began to detain the participants and take them out of the place of the action. According to journalists, about 40 people.
In addition, the police took the activists Sevinj Sadygova and Gulmira Aslanova outside of Baku and left them there. The Ministry of Internal Affairs has not yet released data on the number of detainees.
