Three dead taken from the rubble of a house in Khyrdalan (UPDATED)
The search and rescue operations in the five-storey building in Khirdalan, where early in the morning there was an explosion, ended last night.
Nine people alive and three dead were taken from the rubble, according to the Ministry of Emergency.
The explosion was caused by a gas leak.
Three families, who lost their homes, will be provided with new housing by the state. The evacuation of other residents and the demolition of the building are considered.
Note that the unfinished building was settled by IDPs who arranged it themselves, on their own. -16D06-

The rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations removed the bodies of two dead from the rubble partially struck this morning by the explosion of an unfinished five-story building.

Early in the morning on Monday in Khirdalan of the Absheron district (15 km from Baku), an explosion occurred in a 5-storey building.
According to the MOE, as a result of collapse of a wall, five people remained under the rubble of the building. The rescuers managed to get three of them, while the search for the remaining two is ongoing.
The cause of the explosion has not been disclosed. Judging by the nature of the collapse, there was a gas explosion. A wall fell in two apartments on the 2nd and 3rd floors.
We note that the house is considered to be unfinished, but it was settled by IDPs who have arranged the utilities at their own choice. -16D-
