Traffic will be restricted in various districts of Baku due to festive events
Baku/07.11.23/Turan: On the occasion of the Victory Day on November 8 from 09:00 to 13:00, processions of Defence Ministry servicemen accompanied by a band are planned in various streets and avenues of Baku.
In this regard, traffic will be restricted on a number of streets, the city, traffic police department said.
In particular, the military will march along the following three routes:
- Heydar Aliyev Palace - Bulbul Avenue - Nizami Cinema Centre - Neftchilar Avenue - Azadlyg Square;
- Martyrs' Alley - Flame Towers Complex - Icherisheher metro station - Azneft - Bahram Guru sculpture;

As part of the struggle against illegal migration in Baku city, operative actions were carried out at different addresses. The Interior Ministry reports that employees of the Department for Combating Illegal Migration identified and detained 34 foreigners without documents giving the right to reside and stay on the territory of Azerbaijan.

During the operation of the Main Drug Control Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 5 members of an organized group engaged in drug trafficking were detained. All of them have previous convictions: Bahlul Ismayilov, Royal Aliyev, Khayal Aliyev, Samir Aghayev, and Ali Mammadli.
