The Azerbaijani police detained two guys from the wanted list in Russia, Rufat Ibrahimov and Vugar Radjabov, according to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan.
Ibrahimov was wanted on Article 327 (manufacture and use of false documents) of the Criminal Code, and Radjabov was wanted on Article 186 (production and sale of counterfeit money or securities). -03D06 -

On December 25, an Embraer 190 passenger plane operated by Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZAL), on a Baku–Grozny flight, crashed near the city of Aktau in Kazakhstan. Azerbaijan’s Consul General in Aktau, Ayxan Suleymanlı, stated that the plane had 67 people onboard, including crew members, 38 of whom died. According to him, 26 of the deceased were Azerbaijani citizens.
