On Saturday, the Career Day job fair is held at the Baku American Education Center. It is organized with the support of the Public Union of Azerbaijani Graduates of American Universities, American Center and the US Embassy in Baku.
The fair offers jobs from 22 companies and organizations, including Azercell, P & G, Coca-Cola, Deloitte, ASAN Khidmet, Azersun, ADA University, Youth Inc. Incubator, Hilton, Marriott, Islamic Games, the Ministry of Education, FMSC, SOCAR, and Engin. Hundreds of people have applied for jobs.
In parallel with the fair graduates of US government educational programs hold a session on building a successful career, raising interviewing skills, and creating personal brands.
The US Deputy Ambassador William Gill said the American graduates achieve self-affirmation in different countries. And in Azerbaijan, they have achieved recognition for their openness, big ideas and creativity, Gill said.
According to him, the US graduates participating in the event are represented in the private sector, state agencies and businesses and will share their experience, knowledge and abilities. -03C06--

As part of the struggle against illegal migration in Baku city, operative actions were carried out at different addresses. The Interior Ministry reports that employees of the Department for Combating Illegal Migration identified and detained 34 foreigners without documents giving the right to reside and stay on the territory of Azerbaijan.
