Vaccination Continues with Gross Violations
Baku/25.03.21/Turan: Citizens continue to receive complaints about the lack of order during vaccination against coronavirus in Baku. Journalist Nailya Balayeva told Turan that on March 24, she and her husband, historian Aydin Balayev, came to the 16th Baku polyclinic to receive the first dose of the Chinese vaccine SynoVac (CoronaVac). Previously, according to the instructions of the Operational Headquarters for Combating Coronavirus Infection, they registered in the electronic queue on the website randevu.its.gov.az, having received a message about the need to be at the clinic at 10.00-11.00.
But at the medical facility, they faced a crowd of people waiting. An employee standing at the door gave the Balayevs crumpled, reused cartons with numbers 48 and 49. When asked about the electronic queue, she said that it was empty, the real queue was here, and the electronic document was not taken into account. The age of those who came for vaccination was not checked on the spot.
After waiting for an hour, it was the turn of the Balayevs. They were outraged when they saw the method of work of the nurse Lyudmila Garalova, who filled a syringe with the vaccine for a man in another room. Citizens could not be sure that the vaccine was used, not water, and that the solution was not taken from an ampoule open to previous patients.
The journalist filed a complaint with the chief physician of the 16th polyclinic Sara Jabbarli, who replied: You have been vaccinated, and I myself will decide what to do with my subordinate.
In an interview with Turan, Balayeva explained the reason for the pandemonium in the polyclinic: despite the possibility of receiving the vaccine before 18.00, declared in the TƏBIB electronic system, vaccination is carried out in the 16th polyclinic from 10.00 to 14.00. Citizens who came at 17.00 are forced to return for vaccinations the next day.
For the first time, Turan reported on the same disorder with vaccinations in the premises of school N5 in Khirdalan on March 5. Having registered in the electronic queue, economist Samir Aliyev and his wife were forced to stand in a live queue in the crowd, in a closed school building, where not everyone was wearing masks. In such conditions, citizens can become infected with the coronavirus, because those in the queue are not vaccinated and are in the age group at risk.
According to Turan, in the seventh polyclinic in Baku, the process of vaccination of the population proceeds according to the rules, by electronic turn. The reporter completed the procedure in 40 minutes, including waiting in line, a cursory physical examination, and a 30-minute observation of the patient's condition after direct vaccination.
Commenting on the situation to Turan, TƏBİB said that crowding in places of vaccination is created by citizens who did not take the online queue, as well as who came earlier or later than the set time.
Employees do not refuse to vaccinate older people who come outside the established time. TƏBİB added that they insist on using the electronic queue by citizens, and those who cannot register online themselves can turn to the polyclinic at their place of residence for help. —0—
