Visa Section of French Embassy to Be Closed for Five Days
Due to renovations to improve the conditions of admission, the visa department of the French Embassy in Baku will be closed during the period 7-22 September (within 5 working days). Exact dates will be announced before August 27, according to the press service of the French Embassy.
Currently, the date of reception of visa applications is determined not later than 12 working days. The term of the review of the documents is at least 5 days.
Holders of diplomatic and service passports may apply for the appointment of the date of delivery of documents every day from Monday to Friday from 15.00 to 16.00. Consideration of the application takes a minimum of 2 working days.
With this in mind, the visa department asks persons planning to travel to countries, where visas are issued by the Embassy of France (France, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands), to take note of this announcement.
In addition, the visa department reserves the right to change the number of appointments in accordance with the capacity of reception.
