Baku/19.11.22/Turan: A Makarov pistol was seized from a passenger during pre-flight inspection at Heydar Aliyev International Airport.
The weapon was detected by employees of the Main Aviation Security Directorate of Azerbaijan Airlines, the airport press service reported on November 19.
The report says that the incident was documented and the passenger was handed over to law enforcement officials for further investigation.
No name of the passenger with the weapon was disclosed.-06B-
