Which of MNS Employees Detained?
State and law enforcement agencies still do not provide official information about the names and positions of the arrested employees of the Ministry of National Security (MNS).
However, the media, citing a police source, have called a number of names. Almost all publications are referred to the arrest of the chief of the MNS monitoring center General Teymur Guliyev, the head of the operational and technical management division Natavan Murvatova, the deputy head of the anti-terrorist center, Colonel Ilgar Aliyev, the head of Department for Combating Transnational Crime Colonel Fuzuli Aliyev, and the monitoring center’s employee Farhad Atayev.
At the same time, there is contradictory information about the fate of the deputy head of the National Security Ministry Hilal Asadov and the head of the security division for energy and transport Akif Chovdarov.
According to some data, the latter two have been removed from their posts and even arrested or are under house arrest. Other sources deny this. -06D-
