Witness in "Nardaran case" told about torture
On 7 November at the trial in the "Nardaran case" witnesses continued giving testimonies. In particular Motabar Aliyev said that the Main Directorate for Combating Organized Crime (MDCOC) of the Interior Ministry, the head of the department Kerim Alimardanov and detective Islam Agabeyov pressured him.
"They told me, if you want to get out on parole after serving one-third of the period, give testimony against Thale Bagirzade or confirm the testimony during the preliminary investigation. I did not agree, then they told me, "you will repeat the fate of Ali Insanov, and you will stay in the prison," said the witness. Motabar Aliyev was arrested in Sabirabad four days after the special operation in Nardaran. At first they tortured him in Sabirabad police, threatened with rape, and wanted to accuse of illegal possession of arms, threatened to arrest his father. Aliyev could not stand tortures, and signed a testimony that he received weapons from a man named Rovshan, and hid it.
In MDCOC in Baku he was made acknowledge that Bagirzade handed him the weapons. Aliyev spoke about torture when they tied his hands and beat him. After he was threatened with rape, he slandered Bagirzade.
Aliyev said that on October 19 the MDCOC officers came to him and asked to confirm the evidence, otherwise, threatened a new criminal case.
The lawyer Yalcin Imanov has put forward a motion for security of the prisoner. The trial continues.
In the course of a special operation in Nardaran on November 26, 2015 6 people were killed in the shooting, including two policemen. Total in this case about 70 people were brought to trial, mostly members and supporters of the "Muslim unity" Movement. They are accused of a number of Articles of the Criminal Code: attempt to forcibly change the constitutional system, the creation of an organized armed criminal group and others.
The trial in the case of 18 accused is ongoing in the Baku Serious Crimes Court. Among them was the deputy chairman of APFP Fuad Gahramanli, who is accused of anti-state calls, inciting religious hatred, and calling for riots. In fact, Gahramanli wrote on his page in Facebook appeal to the Nardaran residents, urging them to defend their rights. -03D06-

Later, other "witnesses" claimed it wasn't a whale, but a shark. Even later, a version emerged suggesting it was a submarine.
