Wolves Tear up to 50 Sheep in Sheki
Early in the morning on Saturday, a pack of wolves raided the farm Gublay in Sheki (360 km from Baku), causing great losses.
According to the regional correspondent of Turan, at 6 o'clock in the morning the wolves attacked three farms, where sheep are kept. In the first case the predators tore 35 sheep, in the second - 11 and in the third - 4.
In the first case, the farmer also suffered from the fact that 35 sheep had been bought by a bank loan of 2,000 dollars.
The veterinary service workers arriving at the scene suggested that the wolves were infected with rabies. For this reason, the lost sheep were burned and the remains were buried. -05B-
