Women journalists to hold a rally in support of H.Ismaylova
At about 18:00, a group of women-journalists is going to hold a rally in support of their colleague, Khadija Ismailova. The action was initiated by a group of "Support Khadija" created on Facebook. The action participants plan to march from the metro station "Nizami" to the Fountain Square.
The action will be quiet, the participants will hang on their chest Khadija Ismailova’s photo, and posters with the inscription: "We are proud of Khadija", "Khadija + Budget = investigation."
The reason for the action is a campaign of harassment and threats by the authorities against the employees of the radio station "Azadlig" because of revelations of corruption among power, and in particular about the business of Ilham Aliyev’s family. -03B-
