The week of May 25–31, 2026, in Azerbaijan was dominated by two major events: the celebration of Eid al-Adha and the 108th anniversary of the proclamation of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic. From a socio-political perspective, the period demonstrated the authorities’ efforts to combine the strengthening of national identity, an active foreign policy, and the continued integration of Karabakh into the country’s political and economic framework.
