U.S. Ambassador Meets with Attorneys for Tofig Yagublu, Fuad Gahramanli
Baku / 17.09.20 / Turan: The lawyer of the opposition politician Tofig Yagublu Nemat Karimli and the defender of the rights of the PFPA member Fuad Gahramanli Bahruz Bayramov on September 17 met with the US Ambassador Lee Litzenberger.
As Bayramov told Turan, during the meeting, which lasted an hour and a half, the situation with human rights, the problem of political prisoners, issues related to advocacy and the functioning of the ombudsman institution were discussed
“During the discussion of the topic of political prisoners, the focus was on issues related to the protection of the rights of Tofig Yagublu and Fuad Gahramanli,” Bayramov said. –06D-
