In April of this year in Azerbaijan, consumer prices decreased compared to March by 0.2%, the State Statistics Committee told Turan.
Earlier SSC reported that in February, following the devaluation of the national currency by 34%, prices of goods and services rose by an average of 4%, and in March – by 0.9%.
In April, food prices rose by 0.5%. In this non-food items became cheaper by 0.5%, and public services were 0.9% lower than in March.
On an annual basis within four months of this year, the official inflation rate was 3.1%. Food prices increased on average by 4.6%, non-food products - 2.6%, services - 1.5%. --08B

Kazakhstan is set to increase its oil transit through the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline by 5.1% in 2024, reflecting growing regional cooperation and diversification in energy routes.
