Azerbaijan Holds First Workshop on Corrosion Protection
Baku / 09/12/19 / Turan: The first technical workshop in Azerbaijan dedicated to corrosion protection is being held today at the Boulevard Hotel in Baku.
The event was organized at the initiative of ATLAS ES LLC.
Corrosion protection issues are relevant for Azerbaijan in the light of the obsolescence of infrastructure and equipment every year.
In several industries, obsolescence of fixed assets exceeds 50 percent.
In general, the average production age of the country's enterprises exceeds 25 years.
The seminar is important for discussing corrosion protection issues, applying new technologies and materials to extend the life of equipment, buildings and structures.
The workshop presents materials and technologies for protection against corrosion and fires, quality control instruments and non-destructive flaw detectors.
The seminar program also includes topical issues of protecting oil and gas pipelines, tankers and equipment of industrial enterprises.
Attention will also be paid to corrosion protection of civilian facilities.
The world leaders in the production of protective sheathing and applied equipment such as ATLAS COPCO, SHERWIN-WILLIAMS, NACE International, ELCOMETER, URALGRIT, GRACO and AIRBLAST are represented at the seminar.
The participants will be provided with information on the latest achievements and innovations in this area. -0-
