Azerbaijan introduces a simplified customs declaration
Azerbaijan starts introduction of simplified customs declaration forms used in the export-import operations, said an official of the Main Directorate of Customs Control of the State Customs Committee (SCC) of Azerbaijan Jafar Guluzade on Friday at a seminar "Simplified customs procedures and processes used to create favorable conditions for business entities."
According to him, after the introduction of reduced declarations the entrepreneurs will be able to save on export-import operations. He noted that the State Customs Committee plans to introduce a simplified form of the declaration for export and import of energy transit through pipelines and electric energy. --17B--

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
