Baku got 29 new garbage machines
Baku/17.12.13/Turan : According to the contract with the company Hydro-Mak ( Turkey), Baku supplied 29 Ford vehicles and distributed them among six regional executive authorities for the transport of waste. Turan was told in the press service of the Ministry of Economy and Industry .
The procurement was conducted through jointly implemented with the World Bank project " Unified management of municipal solid waste ." The project is implemented by the state-run JSC Temiz Shahar (Clean City) . In the sector of public relations of this structure they could not answer the question of Turan about the number of vehicles involved in the collection and transportation of garbage in Baku.
The " Unified management of municipal solid waste " was signed between the Government of Azerbaijan and the World Bank on May 20, 2009 . The project is for 5 years and an estimated $ 41.5 million , including $ 29.5 million allocated by the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development ( World Bank group member ) .
