Bank of Baku and the Diplomatic Academy to Cooperate
Bank of Baku and the Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy (ADA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
As reported in the bank, a document signed by the chairman of the Board "Bank of Baku" Farid Huseynov and the rector of Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy, Deputy Foreign Minister Hafiz Pashayev.
Bilateral memorandum defines the main directions of cooperation between the bank and the academy. Under the agreement, students ADA, demonstrating high academic performance, will benefit scholarships provided Bank of Baku. ADA, in turn, means of training programs, provide special training courses for the staff of Bank of Baku.
Mutual cooperation also includes the involvement of students and graduates of ADA to work and programs to recruit experience Bank of Baku, joint scientific conferences, as well as the opening of new specialties in the future related to the banking and financial sectors.
Bank of Baku continues its work towards establishing and strengthening cooperation with educational institutions of the country. - 15D -

Azerbaijan's financial standing continues to strengthen as the country's foreign currency reserves have surged to $71 billion as of January 1, 2025, according to the Ministry of Finance. This figure, which includes reserves held by the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) and the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), far exceeds the nation's external debt, which stands at a fraction of its reserves, specifically nearly 14 times less. This robust reserve position reflects Azerbaijan's fiscal stability and the government’s strategic economic management.
