Ceremony was held to mark the opening of the Training Center for Capital Markets
Baku/13.03.14/Turan : Today was held in Baku on the occasion of the opening ceremony of the Training Center for Capital Markets ( UCHRK ) under the State Committee on Securities . Training Center is located on Avenue Azadlig , and the participants gathered in the hotel Hilton.
News agency Turan, perhaps because of the publication of critical articles about the activities of the SSC , was not invited to this event. According to the sector of public relations department , speaking at the ceremony, the head of the State Committee for Securities Rufat Aslanli said that the training center will play an important role in the efficient operation of the securities market , to increase the knowledge of financial intermediaries, potential issuers and investors , as well as the formation of a high professional awareness .
Welcoming addresses were also made by the representative of the World Bank in Baku Larisa Leshchenko , Deputy Regional Director SECO Mathias Feldman and other officials.
Learning Center Director Jamil Mammadov, who previously worked in the brokerage company LLC Invest-AZ, spoke about the educational strategy , training programs and development plans.
During the ceremony , a Memorandum of Understanding between the company and UCHRK Invest-AZ.
UCHRK created in one of the components of the World Bank and SECO " Modernization of capital markets." Only in 2012 the cost of the opening of this center had spent $ 123,780 . How much will it work before completion of the project (2015), is not reported. - 08D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
