Fifth International Insurance Forum to be held in Baku June 19-20
BAKU/22.04.14/Turan : The fifth Azerbaijan International Insurance Forum (AIIF) will be held in Baku on June 19-20 .
The main issues will become agricultural insurance, insurance against disaster risks, reinsurance, and health insurance. Special theme will be the use of compulsory health insurance.
According to the head of Azerbaijan Insurers Association (AIA) Orkhan Bayramov, regulation of losses in motor insurance and general trends in the insurance market of Azerbaijan in 2013-2014 will also be on the agenda.
In addition, investment opportunities will be discussed for the regional insurance market. The focus of the forum will be the question of application of the insurance system Green Card in the Caucasus region.
The forum will be attended by over 250 representatives of various companies, representing local and foreign insurance markets.
AIA was founded in December 2006. The main purpose of its creation is to ensure the development of the insurance market of Azerbaijan, as well as the performance of insurance companies with one voice in the discussion of the problems and prospects of the insurance market. -17D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
