In March, Prices of Construction Materials Rose by 1.4%
According to the monitoring of the building materials market in March, prices rose by an average of 1.4%. In the tie with the season on the market, there is some activity.
Among the materials, the prices of which have risen: slate - 3.4%, metal profile - 2.8%, boards – 2.1%, chipboard - 3.4%, sand-gravel - 11.1%, plastic pipes - 3.5 %. During the month, prices fell for channels - 3.1% and ordinary glass - 1.5%. The share of local production in the market in March was slightly higher than 52%.
Experts explain the slight increase in prices of building materials in March with a rise in price of imported goods. Impetus to the artificial increase in the price was also given by increase in the activity in the market. In general, however, the market dynamics is negatively affected by monopoly and price-fixing. In connection with the season activity will be observed in the market, and hence the increase in prices of construction materials.

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
