Nakhchivan privatized property assessed at a fair price
Baku/06.03.14/Turan : Evaluation of privatized property in Nakhchivan , where privatization is carried out at the discretion of the management of this autonomy , being more fair in terms of compliance with market conditions than in the center . This is evidenced by the comparative figures for the starting price of privatized facilities .
Privatized on February 11 in Nakhchivan, a shop selling building materials with an area of ??401 square meters, was estimated at 20 thousand manats, that is 50 manats per 1 m2. The State Property Committee brought to sale on March 1 this year a store of household goods (71.6 m2) that costs 4,686 manat or 65 manats per 1 m2. Realtors say , these figures do not reflect the real value of any commercial property in Baku or in Nakhchivan. However, the value of property in Nakhchivan installed close to the starting price . In Baku the market value of a shop is not less than 600 manats per 1 m2.
According to the State Property Committee, in 1996-2013 years was privatized 43,965 objects , including 973 in 2013. Most facilities are vehicles ( 13,357 ), household items ( 10 581 ) , non-residential premises (11 009) , etc. During this period, the state budget from the "small" privatization received 174 million manat.
Information on the progress of privatization in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic is absent. Information on the auction is published in the official newspaper of the NAR Sherg Gapisi (www.serqqapisi.az ). It is not known what the normative acts in the privatization enjoys Ministry of Economic Development NAR that approximately 2003 acts as a seller of state property. Law and State program of privatization of property in the Azerbaijan Republic , is not provided privatization of state property by its separate entities - the only seller is the State Property Committee. - 08B-

In late February, the governments of Pakistan and Azerbaijan are expected to sign an investment agreement worth $2 billion, which will include several projects with SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan).
