Outline plans for the two cities of republican significance transferred to the public
Compiled by order of the State Committee for Architecture and Urban Planning, the Master Plan projects for Shirvan and Mingachevir have been transferred to the public of these cities.
Under the Code of Urban Planning and Construction (chapter 29), preliminary draft general plans of settlements should be referred to a discussion of their public and approved in accordance with their comments and suggestions. Therefore texts of the Master Plans within 60 days will be in the buildings of the executive power of Shirvan and Mingachevir.
According to the State Committee, to date, there are 26 general plans of cities and regional centers. Third and final discussion of the draft Regional Development Plan of Greater Baku was held in Baku on May 15. After approval by experts, it was decided to send the document to the Cabinet. This document provides for the regeneration of the territory of Baku, Absheron Peninsula development in the northern (Sumgait) and southern (Alat) directions. By 2030, Baku may become a metropolis by developing the residential strip Baku- Sumgayit - Mardakan and creating an autonomous region in Alat. -08B-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
