Samsung Electronics Creates Subsidiary in Azerbaijan
World-renowned South Korean company Samsung Electronics established a subsidiary in Azerbaijan.
According to the Ministry of Taxes, Ltd. Samsung Electronics Saucasus Company was officially registered on 15 October. The appointed director is a citizen of South Korea, Sang Pil Chun.
For the formation of the authorized capital of the new company the parent company has invested $ 2.2 million. The Baku office is located at 6 Abbasgulu Bakikhanov Street.
Samsung Electronics started in Azerbaijan in 1994, opening its first store Baku Electronics. In 1995, Baku Electronics received distribution rights for the implementation of the South Korean household electrical appliances. In 2006 Baku Electronics was entitled to distribution of all goods Samsung Electronics. In Azerbaijan, there are 18 specialty shops selling goods from Samsung Electronics.
