Shell to start extracting oil and gas in arctic since 2025
Since 2024 Shell company will extract oil and gas in Arctic, reported Singhua quoting the statement of Peter Wozer, Executive Director of the Oil and Gas Holding.
In one of his last interviews Wozer said that “Arctic is rich in oil and gas and the region will be explored.”
After series of halts and incidents during the exploration drilling in Arctic in 2012 Shell announced suspension of exploration in Arctic in 2013 to prepare the equipment and work out the plan to resume the operations later.
