Tomorrow, the World Forum on ICT Policy
14-16 May in Geneva will be the fifth World Telecommunication Policy Forum in the field of telecommunications / ICT, organized by the International Telecommunication Union.
Azerbaijan was represented by the Deputy Minister of Communications and Information Technologies Elmir Velizadeh.
In accordance with established practice, the day before the official opening of the forum will be held May 13 session on the strategic dialogue on the topic of "Creating a framework for the future of broadband."
The strategic dialogue is based on a positive understanding of the importance of broadband, as the main platform for progress, and explores the benefits of broadband issues, study of its regulation and the future of our networks.
There will be discussion of the "broadband revolution" in the analysis of broadband as critical infrastructure in today's global economy. Participants will discuss the benefits of broadband to accelerate development. - 17D-
