Within Framework of Project Shahdeniz Gas and Condensate Production Increased Significantly
In January-September 2016 in the framework of the project Shahdeniz, BP and the partners were able to extract from the depths of the Caspian 8.021 bcm of natural gas. This was reported by a source in SOCAR.
Compared with the same period last year, gas production in the framework of the project Phase-1 of the Shahdeniz field development managed to increase by 800 mcm, or 11.1%.
In addition, during this period in the contract area there was produced 1.865 million tons of condensate. For the same period last year, the volume of condensate produced was 1.656 million tons. Thus, for the first nine months, production of condensate on Shahdeniz increased by 209,000 tons, or by 12.6%. -12B--

At the 11th Summit of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), held in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, member states signed a Digital Economy Partnership Agreement (DEPA) to promote cooperation in digital sectors.
