Netanyahu announced the deadline for completing Israel's operation in southern Gaza
@НОВОСТИ: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is confident that due to pressure from the international community, the operation to eliminate the Hamas movement in Rafah province in the south of the Gaza Strip must be completed by March 10.
Such terms are called in the material of The Times of Israel.
The publication notes that at a meeting of the country's military leadership, Netanyahu ordered the operation to be completed before the start of the holy month of Ramadan, which in 2024 falls from March 11 to April 9.
In addition, during the same meeting, the head of the General Staff of the Israel Defense Forces, Herzi Halevi, said that Israeli troops are ready for the operation, but are waiting for the government’s decision regarding the displaced civilians from the north of the enclave in Rafah.
Earlier, the head of the German Foreign Ministry, Annalena Bärbock, said that an IDF attack on Rafah would lead to a humanitarian catastrophe. As a result of a military clash, many civilians would be injured, she complained.
