Action in Nardaran is postponed

The action of protest in Nardaran appointed for Friday demanding the release of Taleh Bagirzade, arrested on March 31 on charges of drug possession, failed. The reason for the action became the rumors that the head of the Caucasian Muslims Board, Sheikh  Allahshukur Pashazade, assured the local elders  that Bagirzade  will be released within two months. It was announced at 16:00 I the Imam Hussein Square at the time when together hundreds of believers gathered in the square. After that announcement believers dispersed.

However, Turan was not able to obtain confirmation of this information in the Caucasus Muslims Board. It is possible that the rumor was started deliberately to disrupt the action. 

According to Turan correspondent, in the morning all the entrances to the Nardaran were brought under control of police squads. Buses with policemen are along the road leading to the village of Nardaran.—16C03/06-

The action of protest appointed for 16:00 in the village of Nardaran caused panic among authorities who actually introduced a state of emergency in the  village, and on the roads leading to  the village.

As it is reported from the scene correspondents Turan, The police does not to the village  people by car who come to  take part in a protest against the arrest of Taleh Bagirzade, a religious figure  of Nardaran  who is accused by the authorities of drug possession, according to Turan correspondent reporting form the scene. 

The elder of the village   Natiq Karimov  said on the phone that the police surrounded his house and does not allow to go out. Meanwhile, hundreds of people gathered in the central square of the village for the rally. -016В-
