Aliyev Receives US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State
President Ilham Aliyev on June 23 received the Deputy Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs Bridget Brink.
As reported by the President’s website, Aliyev noted the positive dynamics in the development of the bilateral relations in the recent period.
The agenda of the bilateral relations covers a wide range of industries, including security, energy and regional development. Aliyev described the current level of the bilateral relations as "very good" and expressed the belief that Brink's visit will contribute to further expansion of the cooperation.
The US diplomat, in turn, noted that the purpose of her mission to the region is a further strengthening of partnerships. She noted she would make every effort to bring the cooperation to a higher level. -16D-
