Araz Aliyev was arrested for 25 days
Baku/24.12.23/Turan: Araz Aliyev, a member of the NIDA Public Movement and the “Third Republic” platform, was arrested by a court decision for 25 days of administrative arrest.
Information about this for Turan was confirmed by an employee of the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ibrahim Amiraslanov.
According to sources in law enforcement agencies, Araz Aliyev was found guilty under Article 510 (minor hooliganism) of the Code of Administrative Offences. Details of the arrest could not be found out.
Contact with Araz Aliyev was lost on December 23 around 18:00.
Speaker of the “Third Republic” platform Akif Gurbanov said that the arrest of Araz Aliyev is connected with the activities of this political organization.
“The formation of the Third Republic appears to have greatly disturbed the regime.
As we have already announced, we want to move from a controlled society to a self-governing society. Our main slogan: “We obey the law, not the individual,” noted Akif Gurbanov on his Facebook page. -03-
