Arms are smuggled from Russia to Armenia - I. Aliyev
Baku / 20.10.20 / Turan: Baku has information about illegal supplies of Russian weapons to Armenia. Azerbaijan calls on Moscow to consider what is happening, said President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in an interview with TASS.
“We informed the Russian side of concern that during the active phase of the confrontation, a huge amount of weapons were being transferred from Russian cities to the territory of Armenia. We have data, we have flight maps, and we have the type of weapons. All this was delivered up to the Russian side, "Aliyev said.
“It is hard for us to believe that Russia, as a co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group and as a country that should maintain neutrality, like France and the United States, armed the Armenian side during the active phase of the conflict,” the Azerbaijani President added.
“According to our information, large Russian entrepreneurs of Armenian origin are involved in this scheme; well-known arms dealers who are under international sanctions are involved.
“And our appeal to the Russian side was aimed at sorting out this issue,” Aliyev said.
He added that Baku has information and can publish the list of these supplies. "If necessary, we can also publish in the public space the nomenclature of supplies to Armenia from the Russian side during this time. Which transport ships and airlines delivered this," he said. -02D-
