At Meeting with Prime Minister of Slovakia, Aliyev Noted Priority of Relations with European Union
Baku / 14.11.18 / Turan: On the evening of November 13, President Ilham Aliyev received the Prime Minister of Slovakia Peter Pellegrini. According to the official report, the meeting was one-on-one and bilateral relations within the framework of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the European Union were discussed at it.
Further negotiations were continued with the participation of the delegations.
"We see great potential in expanding the partnership, and I am confident that the issues discussed during the visit will lay a solid foundation for further partnership," Aliyev said, reiterating the priority of Azerbaijan"s relations with the European Union in the political, economic, social, transport and energy spheres.
In turn, Peter Pellegrini said the members of the delegation held fruitful talks in Baku to create an intergovernmental commission and expand the legal framework in the economic sphere.
The prospects for cooperation in the field of investment, education and tourism were also discussed. -02D-
