Azerbaijani Defense Minister's visit to Turkey
Baku/02.02.22/Turan: On February 1, Azerbaijani Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov held meetings with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Defense Minister Hulusi Akar in Ankara.
During his meeting with Akar the sides discussed regional security issues, prospects for the development of cooperation between the two countries in the military, military-technical, military-educational and other spheres.
Akar voiced his confidence that the cooperation between the two countries will continue to strengthen and develop.
In turn, Hasanov expressed gratitude for moral and political support provided by Turkey to Azerbaijan during the Second Karabakh War. He stressed the importance of the combat experience gained by Azerbaijani soldiers during the joint exercises. Both sides emphasized the significance of holding such events on a regular basis. -02D-
