Baku and Tehran to Sign Twelve Documents on Cooperation
Tehran / 13.03.18 / Turan: Tehran and Baku will sign 12 documents on cooperation following the meeting of the Azerbaijani-Iranian Intergovernmental Commission (IGC), Iranian Minister of Economy and Finance Masoud Karbasian said in Tehran on March 13.
During the two-day meeting of the IGC, working groups will also be created: economic, trade, banking, transport, communication, energy, water, agricultural, and research committees, IRNA agency reported.
Karbasian and his Azerbaijani counterpart Shaheen Mustafayev took part in the opening ceremony of the IGC in Tehran on March 13.
The Iranian Minister said the Presidents of the two countries are determined to activate the banking cooperation.
The Minister of Azerbaijan noted the growth of the level of mutual cooperation of the two countries for the last 4 years.
Among the documents being prepared for signing, a loan agreement was signed to finance the construction of the railroad Resht-Astara. According to Mustafayev, the document will be signed during the visit of the Iranian President to Baku in late March.
In addition, the Iranian side will be provided with a private clinic in Baku, where doctors from Iran will work, Mustafayev said, without revealing the details. -02D-
