E.Mammadyarov: there is some progress on the status of the Caspian Sea
Official Baku considers that the question of the status of the Caspian Sea between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan is no problem, reporters were told the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister, Elmar Mammadyarov, commenting on the results of the meeting of foreign ministers of the Caspian countries in Moscow on April 22.
Further, he made a very optimistic statement that "the Caspian countries reached a very significant progress." According to him, all the coastal states are interested in making progress on this issue and another meeting at the level of deputy ministers will be held in June in Tehran. The summit of pre-Caspian countries will be held in Astrakhan. -16D-
