Embassy of Afghanistan to open in Azerbaijan
Embassy of Afghanistan will open in Azerbaijan, the Afghan Foreign Minister Zalmai Rassoul told in his interview with journalists in Baku. According to him, the ambassador has been appointed, and he arrived in Azerbaijan together with the Minister. However, the minister did not mention the name of the ambassador and the date of opening of the embassy.
Relations between Azerbaijan and Afghanistan have a deep history and are based on the traditions of mutual respect. "In the most difficult times Azerbaijan and Afghanistan supported each other, and there are close relations between our two peoples," he said.
