Recep Tayyip Erdogan
Erdogan also postponed a visit to Granada
Baku/04.10.23/Turan: The planned visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Spain, where he was supposed to take part in the summit of the European Political Community on October 5, has been canceled.
According to the Turkish newspaper "Yeni Şafak," the Turkish president canceled the visit due to health problems, in particular a cold.
It should be noted that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev also canceled his visit to Granada.
According to the pro-government media of Azerbaijan, Aliyev made such a decision in connection with the imposition of a meeting of the leaders of Azerbaijan and Armenia with the participation of the head of the EU Council Charles Michel, the President of France and the Chancellor of Germany on Baku.
Baku refuses to negotiate with Armenia with the participation of France because of Paris' unilateral and biased position in support of the Armenians. On the other hand, Aliyev's decision was also influenced by the refusal to ensure the participation of the Turkish president at the meeting with Pashinyan along with Western leaders. ---06B---
