European commissioner to discuss rise in Azerbaijani gas supplies in Baku
Baku/14.07.22/Turan: EU Energy Commissioner Kadri Simson is scheduled to visit Azerbaijan at the end of July, the European website EUobserver reports.
The purpose of the visit is to discuss with the Azerbaijani government a draft agreement to raise natural gas exports to EU countries and support the expansion of the Southern Gas Corridor.
Simson's visit will be preceded by talks between the parties on July 19 in Brussels. -16D06-
