Hasan Huseynli will be under police surveillance
The authorities did not dare to arrest a civil society activist, Hasan Huseynli, who was detained by police the day before on charges of hooliganism. According to lawyer, Huseynli will be for a year under police surveillance. This means that Huseynli can not leave the town and must regularly attend police.
A lawsuit was filed against Huseynli under the Article on hooliganism with weapons, and he can be imprisoned up to seven years in prison.
The arrest of human rights activist caused serious international reaction and protests.
The real reason Huseynli’s arrest is the active work of his NGO "Kamil Vatandash " which attracts the youth. -06В-
