Ilham Aliyev Calls for Withdrawal of Armenian Forces from Occupied Territories
Baku / 06.11.18 / Turan: The change of power in Armenia this spring is the logical result of the April 2016 battles, when part of the occupied territories of Azerbaijan was liberated. This was stated by President Ilham Aliyev, speaking at the opening ceremony of the Agdam Mugham Center the day before.
The new leadership of Armenia should, in the near future, by means of negotiations, withdraw the occupying forces from the occupied Azerbaijani lands.
"In April 2016, a powerful blow was dealt to the occupation regime of Armenia, and they became victims of their aggressive policy. I have repeatedly said that the regime of Armenia"s criminal junta should be subject to condemnation by the entire world community. Now the Armenian people are saying this," said Aliyev.
"We will continue to isolate Armenia from all regional projects, and using all means, we will restore our territorial integrity.
The new leadership of Armenia should not repeat the mistakes of the previous criminal regime, it should soon through negotiations withdraw the occupying forces from the occupied lands and allow the citizens of Azerbaijan to return to their native, historical, ancestral lands," he continued. -02D-
