Baku/13.12.22/Turan: A meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan, Turkey and Turkmenistan took place on Tuesday in theTurkmen city of Avaz . The meeting was held on the eve of the summit of the heads of the three countries in the city of Turkmenbashi.
On December 14, the leaders of the three countries will discuss the important issue of creating a gas hub in Turkey and transporting Turkmen gas there through the Caspian Sea and Azerbaijan. As a result of the meeting, several interstate agreements are expected to be signed. ---02D---

On January 24, the Khatai District Court of Baku rejected the petition to transfer Meydan TV journalist Aysel Umudova to house arrest, Turan was informed by her lawyer, Agyl Laidj. The defense was aware that the petition would be rejected, but they appealed to the court to follow the necessary procedures for a future appeal to the European Court of Human Rights. The lawyer pointed out the groundlessness of keeping Umudova in custody, as she had not evaded investigation or interfered with witnesses.
