Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Agreed to Visit of Foreign Media to Karabakh
Baku / 08.05.18 / Turan: Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry does not object to the visit of representatives of a number of foreign media to Nagorno-Karabakh for a briefing by Armenia"s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. Turan was told about it by the head of the Foreign Ministry's press service Hikmet Hajiyev, commenting on today's visit of the new Prime Minister of Armenia to Karabakh and his forthcoming meeting with foreign media.
According to Hajiyev, a number of international media (Associated Press, France Press and The Financial Times) appealed to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with an official request to give consent for their trip to Karabakh.
Asked what would be Baku's reaction to the visit to Karabakh of representatives of other media that did not apply for permission, Hajiyev said the issue will be studied and the relevant actions will be evaluated. -02D-
