Mukhtar Mammadov appointed Azerbaijani Ambassador to Israel
Baku/11.01.23/Turan: By order of the President of Azerbaijan, Mukhtar Mammad oglu Mammadov has been appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to the State of Israel.
Mammadov became the first ambassador of Azerbaijan to the Jewish state.
Azerbaijan established an embassy in Israel in November 2022.
Mammadov was born in Baku in 1983. He is a graduate of the Baku State University, the European College of Belgium, the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Azerbaijan.
In 2005-2013 was in the diplomatic service at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.
Since 2013, he has held various positions in the Ministry of Education.
In April 2022, a Deputy Minister was appointed. --16B--
