OIC Youth Forum on the Bundestag resolution
In connection with the resolution adopted by the German Parliament on the events of 1915, the Board of the OIC Youth Forum at its meeting unanimously condemned the resolution, said the press service of the Forum.
"We have never heard of the condemnation of the German parliament the Armenian terrorist groups against the inhabitants of Khojaly in Azerbaijan in 1992, and against the Turks and the Kurds in 1915 in Anatolia, so we regard the result of the vote a sign of "double standards" and an attempt to put political pressure on Turkey," said the head of the Forum Elshad Isgandarov.
Such a step could put in a difficult situation millions of German citizens of Turkish origin. In addition, all Muslim communities in Europe, including Germany, could face the negative effects of black PR against them, as well as in the future it may adversely affect the inter-communal and inter-cultural relations in Europe, he said. -02D-
