President Aliyev Meeting with the Head of the U.S. Senate Special Committee on Intelligence
On Thursday, President Ilham Aliyev received a delegation led by the deputy chairman of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence U.S. Senator Saxby Chambliss.
As the site of the president said, stressing that the 29th of May in Baku was held at a high level of Azerbaijani-American Forum "Looking to the future," Aliyev highly evaluated the event, which was attended by over 300 representatives of the United States, fruitful discussions about partnership.
Deputy Chairman of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence U.S. Saxby Chambliss expressed his gratitude to the head of Azerbaijan's development of an effective partnership between the two countries in many areas.
At the meeting, it was stressed that the bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and the United States are developing successfully in a variety of ways, including in the field of energy, counter-terrorism, security and other areas. Was highly appreciated Azerbaijan's contribution to Europe's energy security, the sides exchanged views on issues relating to the prospects of cooperation.
