Special cases in the Azerbaijani Justice
On October 29 the Baku Appeal Court considered the appeals of administrative arrests of 12 youth activists detained on October 20 during a protest rally at Fountain Square.
All complaints were rejected, said the lawyer Asabali Mustafayev.
It is interesting that at the time of the consideration of the complaint, eight activists had been released after serving their terms. Another was to be released today, and three - tomorrow.
Consideration of appeals was delayed under the pretext of the weekend in connection with the Qurban Bayram. Defense considers this argument unfounded, since there are duty judges in the courts on days off.
For the arrested the redress of grievances would have moral significance, recognizing the injustice against them.
Tomorrow the complaint of another activist, a member of "Musavat" party, Shahin Mirzoyev, will be considered; he has also been released.
The protest action about which it was announced on October 20 via facebook demanded the dissolution of parliament.—06B--

The United States and the European Union, which tried to position themselves as mediators in the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict, have come up with nothing and merely copied Russia's ideas, distorting their essence in order to "hijack" the peace process for themselves. However, their true goal was to take control of the region, to insert themselves into it, and to push out Russia, as well as Iran and Türkiye, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stated at a briefing on November 13.
